RKD Netherland Institute for art History
Marie-Françoise Borg studied art history in Leiden where she specialised in the fine arts before modernism. For twelve years she worked for a leading art gallery in Amsterdam, conducting research into Flemish and Dutch Old Masters as well as French Impressionists, nineteenth-century Dutch masters, prints by Rembrandt and a range of other subjects.
Borg joined the RKD – Netherlands Institute for Art History in 2012 as Enquiries Officer within the Old Netherlandish Paintings section. Since 2014 she has worked in the Service and Communications department, initially as Events Manager and currently as External Relations Manager, Sponsorship Coordinator and Secretary of The Friends of the RKD. She is the person to contact about subscribing to RKD services.
