Marie-Françoise Borg studied art history in Leiden where she specialised in the fine arts before modernism. For twelve years she worked for a leading art gallery in Amsterdam, conducting research into Flemish and Dutch Old Masters as well as French Impressionists, nineteenth-century Dutch masters, prints by Rembrandt and a range of other subjects. She joined the RKD in 2012 as an enquiries officer for Early Netherlandish Art. Since 2014, she has been working at the Department of Communications and Development, initially as Events Manager and latterly as Relation Manager, Coordinator for Sponsorship and Secretary of The Friends of the RKD. She is subscriptions administrator for the Bulletin.
