Curriculum vitae and duties

Hans van de Willige studied Art History and Architecture at Utrecht University. Even during his studies, he started working as an editor at the Antwerp publishing houses Houtekiet and Hadewych, where he was later appointed publisher. He then entered the world of art (historical) publications as a publisher. First at Waanders in Zwolle, then at Ludion (Ghent/Amsterdam), Terra (Arnhem), d'Jonge Hond (Harderwijk), WBooks (Zwolle) and Lecturis (Eindhoven).

Raising funds and maintaining relationships are core tasks in an art book publisher. He has been applying the experience gained over the years to the RKD - Netherlands Institute for Art History since April 2022.
