Support from the Friends has made possible the acquisition of exceptional objects, including letters from Piet Mondrian and Theo van Doesburg. They have supported projects such as the Biennial Summer Institute for Netherlandish Art for outstanding students from all over the world, as well as publications such as Treasures of the RKD and Wandelen over de Utrechtse stadswal (A stroll along Utrecht’s city walls).

Funds

Many funds have contributed in recent years to projects, publications, acquisitions and activities initiated by the RKD. Their contributions are an indispensable link in the realisation of the RKD's mission: to make knowledge, research and information on the art of the Netherlands in about Netherlandish art in an international context, for museums, the academic community and the general public alike.
