Born
Leiden 1602
born in the spring of 1602 and not on 22 September 1601. This date was wrongly recorded by Van den Branden, in his History of Antwerpsche Painting School and since then quoted lightly. However, the date refers to the marriage of his parents (Valkeneers 2011). Houbraken already mentioned that he was born in Leiden in 1602.
Deceased
Antwerp 1674-01-08
