    According to Gerson, he traveled also to Italy: he was in Urbino and Fossombrone, in the Appenines, at Lake Trasimeno, in Perugia, Assisi, Tivoli and Sorrento (Gerson 1942/1983, p. 172). However, it is now gererally though that it is unlikely that he did travel on to Italy (Saur 2010).
