    probably in the late 1640s educated in the Northern Netherlands (Gerson 1942/1983, p. 500), according to Steinborn this has been in the early 1640s (Steinborn 2004, p. 234). His paining style is close to that of Dutch painters in the circle of Rembrandt (Thieme/Becker 1936), comparable to Bartholomeus van der Helst and Ferdinand Bol (Steinborn 2004, p. 59).
