The art dealership and antique store Etienne Delaunoy was founded in 1871 by Etienne François Delaunoy (De Telegraaf, 20-06-1939). His son Etienne Delaunoy reopened the business1934 at Voetboogstraat 13 (De Telegraaf, 24-12-1934). In 1936 the art dealership moved to Rokin 118 (De Telegraaf, 21-04-1936). From 1922 until 1950 Etienne Delaunoy N.V. was registered at De Vereeniging van Handelaren in Oude Kunst (Heijbroek/van Griensven 2007, p. 301).
