Hans van Steenwinckel (I)

He was appointed by King Frederick II as royal architect and became involved in the construction of castles, churches and fortresses and towers in Copenhagen, Varberg and Halmstad. He began the construction of l Kronborg Castle in to Helsingør (Elsinore) , wich was completed by his compatriot Anthonius van Obbergen.
