  • Venetië 1711 - 1716
    1711-1716 with Pietro Baratta in Venice; through him he meets Giovanni Pozzo (v. E.), the brother of Andrea, whose altar constructions lastingly influence Robba. Baratta also familiarizes him with the works of Lorenzo Bernini and Alessandro Algardi. (AKLONLINE October 2018) Robba always travels to Venice (possibly also to Rome) and thus maintains contact with the local sculptors.
  • Ljubljana 1716 - 1755
    After 1716 probably as a co-worker. working in the Wkst. Barattas, Robba goes together with the older Giacomo Contiero in 1720 to Ljubljana, the capital of the then Duchy of Carniola. After first works for the local Jesuits, Robba married in 1722 the daughter of the stonemason and sculptor Luka Mislej, applied for naturalization in 1724 and takes over 1727 as a sculptor, architect and citizen of Ljubljana the Wkst. (And the principal) of his father's father-in-law. In 1743 elected to the City Council, he is in 1745 to the state Ing. appointed by the Duchy of Carniola.
  • Zagreb 1755 - 1757
    In 1755 he goes to Zagreb, where he performs three altars for the cathedral.
  • Rome
    Robba always travels to Venice (possibly also to Rome) and thus maintains contact with the local sculptors.
