In Bredius/Haverkorn van Rijsewijk 1887 it is stated that Hendrick Pot painted it quite unevenly, but that there is no reason to attribute those to another painter, for example Horatius Paulijn.

Esaias van de Velde was her godfather. Thier daughter Judith was baptized in London on 18 November 1631. He was a cousin of the engraver Pieter Goos.
