    He lived his whole life in Amsterdam; he possibly travelled to France and Italy, although he was certainly back in Amsterdam in 1658 (Kloek 1990, p. 2).

    In Augsburg he drew a village landscape on 30 August 1657 (RKDimages 54096) and another drawing with the inscription 'gedaen in Oûisborgh 1657 den 9 ijûnij' (made in Augsburg June 9 1657) (Kloek 1990, p. 2). In the same year the Augsburg publisher Jeremias Wolff published eight engravings of Roghman with mountain landscapes (Saur 2018).
