Family relationships
this field records any family relationship to one or more other artist(s).
Son of Maerten Jaquesz Sayery (died 1601) and Catelijne van der Beecke (died 1586). He was the brother of Hans Savery I (ca.1564-1617), Jacob Savery I (ca.1565-1603), Catharina Savery (1570-ca.1615) and Maycken Savery (1574-1638). He was the uncle of Pieter, Hans Savery II (ca.1589-1654), Jacob Jacobsz Savery II (1592-1651) and Salomon Savery (ca.1594-1683). He was the great-uncle of Roelant Roghman (1627-1692). Houbraken wrongly assumed he was the son of Jacob Savery I, who was his brother.
