    lived at the Wolvenstraat in the house of tailor Jan Cock; he made his will on 1 December 1665 in connection with a planned trip to Italy. He made his mother, who was living in Antwerp, his sole heir. On 3 December 1665 he was ready to board the ship 'Vrouwe Lorette' from Amsterdam to Portugal (Bredius 1890, p. 14-15). There is no evidence that he ever was active abroad, despite his view of the Escorial Palace (RKDimages 287675), that is based on a print (R. van Leeuwen, January 2018).
