nephew of Gabriel Spilberg, son of Johann Spilberg I. Notice of marriage 3 July 1649, 29 years old, living at the Oudezijds Kerkhof in Amsterdam, to Marrite Gerrits (De Vries 1886). Houbraken called his wife Maria Fis and states that they married on 20 July 1649. The couple had two sons and three daughters, among them Adriana Spilberg.
