According to Rombouts/Van Lerius 1872/1961, vol. 2, p. 73, note 4: christened on 5 April 1616 in St. Joris's Church; however, this concerns a son of Peeter Thys and Anna Speeck, who had died already before 1624 (Van den Branden 1883). On 10 december 1664 he declared to be 40 years old (Van den Branden 1883).
