Was samen met G.W. Dijsselhof en Th. Nieuwenhuis werkzaam voor de firma van Wisselingh en Co. te Amsterdam. Lion Cachet werd in 1912 hoofdontwerper bij plateelbakkerij De Distel in Amsterdam. Deze fabriek werd in 1923 overgenomen door NV Koninklijke Hollandse Pijpen- en Aardewerkfabriek Goedewaagen en hij bleef hier werkzaam tot 1930. In 1930 vertrok hij naar plateelbakkerij RAM in Arnhem.
