According to Van Lerius 1880, p. 51 Boeckhorst himself stated 1605 and Münster as his birthplace in his will from 10 September 1639 and said at that time that he was 34 years old at that time; Galen 2012: c.1603-1605, Rees or (more likely) Münster.

Van Lerius 1880 states that Boeckhorst's death-duties were paid between 18 September 1667 and 18 September 1668 (p. 64); buried in the St. Jacobuskerk.
