His parents Pieter de Bloot and Anneken Jacobsdr. came from Antwerp to Rotterdam and married there on 31 January 1601. Pieter himself was married three times in Rotterdam: 1) 31 December 1624 to Anneken Frans, 2) 16 November 1625 to Grietgen Huberts and 3) on 25 August 1630 to Maria Goversdr. Vogels. We do not know about children from his first and second marriage, although he had a son Pieter, who reached majority in 1650, as he signed a deed as a witness, and who was therefore born before or in 1625; from his third marriage Pieter had several children (Haverkorn van Rijsewijk 1891)
