    1633-1635 works under guidance of Rembrandt in the studio of Hendrick Uylenburgh; when Rembrandt leaves in 1635, Flinck replaces him as head of the studio. Probably in 1644 Flinck leaves the studio of Uylenburgh. He buys two houses at the Lauriersgracht, where he starts his own studio.
