In this field, you will find references to names of groups or to the artists that made/make up groups. You may also come across references to other artists if there was/is question of collaboration without a joint name. This is the case, for instance, with artists who rendered parts of works by other artists (such as with P.P Rubens and J. Brueghel I).
Poelenburch collaborated with Herman Saftleven and painted figures in the landscapes of Alexander Keirincx, Jan Both, Guilliam de Heusch, Adam Willaerts, and possibly of Chaerles de Hooch; in interior scenes of Bartholomeus van Bassen, Dirck van Delen, Nicolaes de Ghiselaer and Hendrick van Steenwijck II; in still lifes with Philip van Thielen (Sluijter-Seijffert 2016, p. 27-28. and Appendix V, p. 284-288). Jan Gerritsz. van Bronckhorst made a few etchings after paintings by Poelenburch.

Poelenburch wrote the first out of five verses from the canzone dei baci (by Gianbattista Guarini): Baci soavi, e cari ... ending with: Cornelis van poelenburch in roomen 1617. Of course it is possible that Poelenburch arrived in Rome one or two years before. According to Sluijter-Seijffert he was one of the co-founders of the Schildersbent in 1623.
