IVV
Qualifications
etcher, engraver (printmaker), painter, draftsman, publisher, print artist
Also active as a painter, but now no works can be attributed to him with certainty. Painted works presented by Van Gelder is too diverse to be by the hand of one and the same painter, and no work is fully signed. Only one work is I.V.V. monogram, oval winter landscape on panel, 11.5 x 9.1 cm in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. However, there are doubts about this attribution (M. de Kinkelder).
