Auf der Grundlage dieses von Ernst Schwitters, dem Sohn des Künstlers, angelegten Archivs wird im Sprengel Museum Hannover das Werkverzeichnis erarbeitet. Über Hinweise zu Werken im privaten oder öffentlichen Besitz ist das Sprengel Museum Hannover sehr dankbar.
