    Frans van Mieris (I), Herbergscène
    Ochtervelt adopted Van Mieris´ use of full-length figures and the soldier with a breastplate, whom he gave a different pose and red pants instead of a red cloak. The seat with a loose cushion echoes Van Mieris' work as well. (as observed by E. Schavemaker)
