    The main motif is a standing young woman turned to the left and seen in profile at her toilet table facing a mirror and holding a string of pearls with both hands, the setting is a corner of a room with windows on the left represented sharply receding. Behind the table stands a chair of which only the back is visible. (observed by Eddy Schavemaker)
