For the picture representing the nuptials of Joseph and Mary [= kunstwerknummer 27593 (Utrecht, Museum Catharijneconvent)] I should like to suggest a name. It is by the same hand as a curious panel in the Louvre [= onderhavig kunstwerknummer], showing a Saint preaching in a church. The representation of the Brussels cathedral, St. Gudule, in the background of this picture proves to my mind, that the artist has been working at Brussels. I propose the name: Master of St. Gudule, and attribute to him several other pictures, a list of which I shall publish shortly.'
