HNA Conference 2022

From 2 to 4 June 2022 the HNA (Historians of Netherlandish Art) Conference 2022 will take place in Amsterdam and The Hague (The Netherlands), organized by the University of Amsterdam and the RKD – Netherlands Institute for Art History. Registration is now open.

Over the past few months, the organizers of the next HNA conference in Amsterdam and The Hague, together with the board of HNA, have followed closely all Covid-related developments in Europe as well as in the United States of America. Meanwhile, they worked on the planning of the HNA conference which had to be postponed from June 2021 to June 2022.

The pandemic is still a major factor in the decision making. The committee is, however, cautiously optimistic that they can safely organise a live conference on-site in Amsterdam and the Hague, on Thursday to Saturday, 2 to 4 June, 2022, with a preceding event on the evening of Wednesday, June 1st.
