HNA's Pandemic Intermission Online Event

Picturing the Pandemic. Epidemic Outbreaks and Their Impact on Art Made in the Netherlands during the Early Modern Era

In lieu of the actual HNA conference, which has been postponed from 2021 to 2022, the programme committee organised a special online event on Thursday 3 June 2021. To mark the moment we would have met and exchanged thoughts in Amsterdam and The Hague, we came together, albeit digitally, and reflected on the reason that is keeping us apart: pandemic disease.
