Dutch and Flemish Paintings

The collection Dutch and Flemish Paintings (Oude Nederlandse Schilderkunst, ONS) contains photographs and reproductions of paintings by Dutch and Flemish artists from 1400 to 1800.

The collection consists of two types of images: the scientifically processed and the unprocessed sections, the latter being the so-called pre-arranged section. There are almost 300,000 scientifically processed photographs and reproductions which are archived by location (Northern and Southern Netherlands), period, subject and artist.

The unprocessed images number more than 400,000 and are categorised solely by artist.
