    In 1638-40 Peter was payed for painting work in the 'Onze Lieve Vrouwe van Kersmis' church(Rombouts/Van Lerius 1872/1961); testified on 9 July 1655, 55 years old, regarding insults uttered; 26 July 1660 he disposed of his earthly goods: his house in the Orgelstraat and his paintings would go to his nephew in exchange for board and lodging (Hemeldonck 2007). NB: as his apprenticeship and maturing as a master will have happened between 1616 and 1629, over which years the 'Liggeren' are missing, we have no exact data.
