in 1763 became bishop of the KrálovéhradeckýPrelát, the canon of the Metropolitan Chapel of St. Olomouc in Olomouc; he and to a certain degree his brother Christop collected Dutch and Flemish art (Mzykova 2012, p. 21); and in 1746 he bought the Vizovice farm, which was inherited by his nephew Peter Alcantara von Blümegen (1754-1813), the last member of his family.
