Op 6 november 1605 trouwde hij in Den Haag met Jannetje Cornelis van Montfoort, dochter van de Haagse glasschilder Cornelis Sybertsz. Monicx van Montfoort (Van Thiel 1983 p. 130, 131). // De veronderstelling in De Vries 1886, dat Van den Valckert gehuwd was met Reyntje Jans, met wie hij samen een dochter zou hebben laten dopen op 19 november 1619, berust op een vergissing. Reyntje Jans was namelijk niet de moeder van de dopeling, maar een getuige (Van Thiel 1983, p. 172 (noot 8)).
