Treasures of the RKD

For the first time in the history of the institute, Treasures of the RKD showcases a selection of objects from its rich collections.

Each object – ranging from letters, photographs, books and drawings to spectacles and boxes – tells a unique art-historical story. The contributions have been written by those responsible for the care of the objects or experts who are well acquainted with the RKD’s collections. This beautifully designed book has been created in order to mark the 25th anniversary of the Friends of the RKD foundation.

Treasures of the RKD can be purchased exclusively from the RKD and from our webshop. A Dutch edition, titled Schatten van het RKD, is also available.
