Requesting books and periodicals
Requesting a publication from the depot:
If the publication is in the depot, it can be requested in the study room via RKDlibrary. Click on the ‘reserve’ button and enter the number from your visitor pass with your surname. Click on ‘request’ and then confirm your order. The requested books will be waiting for you in the study room at the following times: at 11am, noon, 2pm and 3.30pm.
Early and rare editions (preciosa) can only be consulted at the two tables reserved for them. Books can be handed back by placing them in the blue tray at the desk.
The maximum number of volumes/parts that you can request per day is 20. If you wish to request more publications, you must send a list of details in an email a few days in advance to: bibliotheek@rkd.nl.
